ST. ALBANS – Andrew “Andy” M. Lynch, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 22, 2018.
He was born in Newton, Mass. on Nov. 28, 1975 to Michael and Jean (Todesca) Lynch.
Andy grew up in Franklin, Mass. and graduated from Franklin High School in 1994. He was also a 1998 Providence College graduate. Andy was currently employed by Nova Bus in Plattsburgh as a senior financial analyst and he was previously employed by Champlain Cable and IBM.
He married the love of his life, Michele, at Saint Anne’s Shrine in Isle La Motte, Vt., on Sept. 24, 2005. He was a very loving and much loved man. Andy lived his life for his wife, children, and family. He was a beloved member of the community and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Albans. He loved coaching his children’s sports and attending their numerous activities. With a personality unmatched, he connected with and made friends with everyone he met. We know with certainty that he is with our loving God, and he will always be with us.
Andy is survived by his wife, Michele (Severance) Lynch and their children, Mikayla, Karissa and Cooper Lynch all of St. Albans; his parents, Michael C. and Jean Lynch of Franklin, Mass.; his brother, Michael T. Lynch and his wife Alicia of Natick, Mass.; mother-in-law, Yvette Severance of St. Albans; brothers-in-law, Rick Severance and his companion, Heather Davies Coupal of Swanton, and Greg Severance and his wife, Jennifer of South Burlington; nieces and nephews, Owen and Emma Severance, and Adeline, Connor and Katie Lynch; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends, especially Matt and Kate Guerino. Andrew was predeceased by his father-in-law, Raymond Severance; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Andy’s family would like to thank the Alburgh Fire and Rescue Volunteers, Grand Isle County Sheriff’s Department, and the Vermont State Police for their efforts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fairfield St., St. Albans. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairfax St., St. Albans.
